I have always been fascinated with content creators in general who will share with us so much information. I have always sought out the ability distribute information as easily and quickly as possible. Honestly it has been difficult for me to get into the creator space due to my very nature of not being very creative and honestly not having that much time to devote to writing.
After viewing other creators such as Tom Lawrence, Jeff Gearling and other technology youtubers I wanted to quickly get into some form of content serving. I have attempted this previosuly by attempting to be a Youtuber of some sorts however I honestly do not have the face nor the personality for video. I therefor started looking into Tailscale at some point and ran across Alex Kretzschmar. He runs a Youtube channel called KTZ Systems, and is also an advocate for Tailscale. This man managed to get me to swap off the vastly inferior and issue ridden Zerotier that I was using and allowed me to bask in the light of Tailscale but also introduced me to several podcasts and finally his blog. I thoroughly enjoyed the more personal nature that a small blog allows you to have and I endeavour to have a very similar experience. I simply want to post my life as it happens. Come with me on all of my light bulb moments, travel shenanigans and just general fun.
What can you expect?
I have always been fascinated with all forms of technology and their use cases within our world. From a young age I remember looking at power poles and ceilings and trying to figure out what all of the boxes and things do on them them. I still live that kind of life today as an adult detailing to people I know the different kinds of access points, networking technologies and just generally useless knowledge to most people who only care about what comes to their phone and not necissarily how it gets there.
However as my wish to share knowledge has increased dramatically throughout my professional career, the ability to do so has shrank dramatically. As I continue throughout my career I wish to share and express more of my knowledge. I hope that this will be an outlet for some of my knowledge and curiosities.
